Welcome! I've been toying with the idea of a blog for a while. I wanted to tie it in with my photography, which I am getting more serious about. I love photography and recently I have been doing more and more event and client based work. While I do shoot weddings with Mark Turek Photography, I also do a lot of child and family photography on my own. I'm not a huge fan of staged photos in front of backdrops, I would much rather be outside somewhere capturing moments that are more candid, and better reflect the family that I am working with.
I really want a couple of things from this blog. The first being a resource for anyone that wants to get the most out of a photographer that they are hiring, regardless if that photographer is me or not. What questions should you ask? What should you wear? I will also be using this blog as a resource to give clients a sneak peak of their photos while I'm editing the rest. Lastly, I tend to be a rambler, so what better place than the internet to force people to listen to me?
